Entertainment Weekly Magazine assigned Marissa to photograph Laura Leighton's preparations for, and arrival at, the Golden Globes, for a feature "A Night in the Life". Ms. Leighton was nominated for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV' for her role in Melrose Place, in 1995. During the shoot at Leighton's mansion in the Hollywood Hills, her typically fussy publicist was concerned about her client's appearance for the night - her bra was showing. A good photographer is ready for anything! Marissa whipped out her gaffer tape and successfully stuck the celebrity's underwear to her sparkly dress.
Marissa still sounds excited to report what a great spot she got on the red carpet that night; then we had a good chuckle over this image featuring creative gaffer tape use, via the Photography Office.
