Marissa loves to travel and made a couple of trips to the Philippines in the late 80's. Following on from the last post, this photograph, Boy and Dove, taken in Manila in 1987, has received an Honorable Mention in the Editorial/Journalism category of Women in Photography International's "black & white & color" competition. ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing photograph. I start a Masters in International Development this September and tattooed a Dove on my wrist a couple years ago to symbolize and preserve my idealistic goals. This photo is rich in personal meaning. Do you have a Twitter account? Congratulations on your recent Honourable Mention. Well deserved.
