June 21st, 2013, marked the opening of the “One Person Crying: Women and War” exhibition, in Oradour, France. The exhibition runs from June 22, 2013 - April 30, 2014 at Centre de la Mémoire, Oradour, France.
Marissa at the opening on Friday night, June 21st, with Robert Hébras, one of the five survivors of the Oradour massacre. He is one of the two last survivors living.
Oradour-sur-Glane was the site of a terrible massacre on June 10, 1944. 642 men, women and children were killed and the town set ablaze afterwards.
