Gave my beloved lounge chair to a friend today
Last night
Toasted the western sky with a glass of wine
Last time
I will recline in this garden so peacefully
Thanked it for its refuge
Relief to have some time again
To think and reflect and look forward
But really just time to breathe
Will be a refugee from the manic madness of modern life
For a short while
The known unknown lies ahead
