Ray Bradbury in Transit

It seems only natural that science fiction writer Ray Bradbury would die on the evening of the day that Venus was in transit across the sun, a rare event that won't take place again for another 105 years. He was a rare man, combining brilliance, humor and quirkiness. I had the great privilege of photographing him for The New York Times in 2007. He was 91. God speed Mr. Bradbury!
